I've been to hair salons all over the world and this is one that I will be coming back to. Their attention to detail and quality is on par with more expensive salons in Taipei and elsewhere like in Japan or Korea.

I scheduled my appointment through Instagram and my Chinese typing speed is like an old man's. But they were very patient while I slowly typed my responses. They asked the same questions that very expensive salons asked in order to determine what is the best for the customer.

I chose this salon because while I was planning on getting a hair dye, my partner wanted to dye her hair. She had previously just got it colored black again and cut in Tokyo, but wanted to get a bi-color dye (peekaboo color/hidden color/surprise color/block color/color panel/whatever people call it).

I had a standard hair straightening and cut from Yena. Yena was great and very efficient. It also appeared that she could speak English though we limited communication to Mandarin. It has been 4 months since my hair treatment and it is still holding up very well. I am very satisfied and plan on scheduling another appointment with Yena again.

My partner was also very satisfied with the hair coloring and cut. She had a horizontal color gradient/ombre from blue to turquoise (left to right under the black hair). Joel was her stylist. She was more comfortable with speaking Cantonese instead of Mandarin and Joel was from Hong Kong. He accommodated her and communicated in Cantonese the entire time. Compared to Tokyo and NY salons, she preferred Joel over them.

Is this place on the pricier end? I guess so compared to quick haircut salons. It is expensive but it is comparable to other expensive salons and is actually cheaper than some I have been to. This is my second time coming here! I highly recommend this place for hair, especially Yena (Y子).

This place is probably on the pricier side of the hair salons in Taiwan, but for good reason. Yena is very skilled and careful. She is attentive and very good at balayage. I think she did the best out of everyone I have been too, especially compared to those in the US. This hair will most likely last me very long because of the skill. She made sure that there would be no clear line after my hair grows out. In my experience at this place, the hair lasts very long and looks very good for even after a year.

I don’t think I will be switching places anytime soon. They have skilled and friendly staff. My chinese is not the best, but they tried their best to explain any terms I didn’t know in chinese.

I also really like the shampoo and color strengthener they sell to help make sure the color lasts. In my experience, the ones in the US cannot compare and do not have the same effect.

I highly recommend this place as it is worth your money. I also recommend going with whatever bleach amount they recommend, as it is better to bleach all at once instead of wanting to go lighter later as it is difficult. I would suggest bringing a picture of the style and color you would like, and they will be able to tell you if it is possible or not.

They take good care of your hair and will not pressure you to get anything you do not want. They will assess the health of your hair as well and warn you if they feel your hair is too damaged. This place is good for Asian hair especially.

I would really recommend asking for Yena. She is very experienced and knows what she is doing! I trusted her the entire way and it was great.

人生第一次漂髮挑了超久才選來光在。
因為工作關係不能染太特殊的顏色，又要盤起來看不到染的頭髮（我根本就是來製造困難的哈哈哈）設計師很努力的達成我的需求，為此前面花了很多時間在溝通，過程中也很有耐心的解釋跟提出建議，雖然最後的髮色比拿去的照片還要淺，但是無意間超級好看，跟之前看到很心動的照片一樣（後來沒有提供是因為看起來太招搖），原本有點擔心，結果盤起來很剛好的藏起染髮的部分，而且身邊超多朋友都誇髮色超美。果然是設計師帶來我的快樂♡
